![]() ![]() The house at the front is supposed to be the Glass house. This candle is inspired by the first two books - Unspoken and Untold- in the Lynburn Legacy series. I was reading Untold, by Sarah Rees Brennan, and I was making polymer candles, this just sort of happened. Made using: a glass jar baked in polymer clay and filled with a melted candle. (Oh no… you know… the *other* terrible thing…) Just now I am writing something with a male character who dresses like a high-end weirdo and I know so much more about Alexander McQueen than I ever knew before! And seeing this beautimous picture reminds me of the terrible thing I did in Unmade and how sad I was to do it. I love what characters wear and what that says about them. ![]() (Look at Jared’s jacket with the heart t-shirt! And the hood with the EARS!) And seeing said fashion interpreted by such a HIGHLY GIFTED artist and in such a cutiepie manner delights me. Is this not the most beautiful and perfect thing you can imagine? How lucky am I! Kami’s fashion is near and dear to me because I gave her some outfits I actually own… not least the Fluffy Pink Bathrobe, which alas had to be thrown out because I ‘wore it’ ‘every day’ ‘over my clothes’ and it was ‘disgusting’. (also partly inspired by walkingnorth‘s fashionable fictional character thing :)) ![]() separate images on my art blog | society6 I was rereading The Lynburn Legacy last week and I kept noticing all of Kami’s descriptions of her clothes… All of these are (at least partly) described in the books. ![]()
